Extrusion group

The extrusion group is commonly named "extruder" and is mainly made of a mixer, a vacuum group and an extruder. The grinded and mixed clay is brought to its moisture content then de-aerated to be extruded by means of a propeller.
The die outside the extrusion group gives the clay cake its stretched shape. Each manufactured product is fitted with a specific die.

Bricks, blocks or pavers manufacture

For bricks, blocks or pavers, many types of cutters can be used according to the products.
The Handling Business  is in charge of the design and manufacture of each cutter according to the product/rate pair:

• Clay cake primary cutter,
• Universal cutter,
• Multiwire cutter with or without chamfering device,
• ...

For soft mud bricks (handmade bricks aspect) , CERIC Technologies also designs turn key installations.

Roof tiles manufacture

Concerning grooved roof tiles, cakes are generally pressed for shaping.
With a complete range of roof tiles press and accessories , CERIC Technologies realizes complete press installations.

Roof tiles accessories manufacture

For a similar range of roof tiles, about ten accessories or so may be manufactured.
The most common ones are ridges and edges that can be systematically associated to the manufacture of the roof tiles.
Accessories may be manufactured on the same type of presses as roof tiles, or on special presses with turning tables.
